Milan design week hosts its annual festival, presenting fairs, exhibitions, installations, pop-ups, talks and workshops across seven days.

This year’s edition of Milan design week takes place from 15 to 21 April 2024.
Salone del Mobile
Design fair Salone del Mobile returns to Fiera Milano in 2024 for its 62nd edition, taking place from 16 to 21 April.
The event is the largest of its kind, welcoming over 370,000 visitors and showcasing over 2,000 brands.
In 2024, the fair hosts the biennial kitchen exhibition EuroCucina, which alternates each year with the lighting showcase Euroluce.
Fuorisalone
The fringe events taking place in Milan during the week are known as fuorisalone and include talks, tours, workshops, exhibitions, open showrooms and pop-ups.
This year, the fuorisalone follows the theme Materia Natura, exploring the dynamic between matter and nature, creativity and sustainability.

Many districts across the city take part in the festival, hosting a variety of fringe events, including:
Brera Design District
Brera Design District – one of the largest districts in the city – hosts its 15th edition, aiming to present over 160 events. Dezeen is a media partner for Brera Design District.

Isola Design District

Tortona Design Week
With events taking place in Zona Tortona in southwest Milan, last year the design district welcomes more than 100,000 visitors.
